Proposal Equality
This animation was commissioned by Dr. Daniela Pirani (University of Liverpool) and Dr. Vera Hoelscher (Royal Holloway University) as part of a research project exploring reversed proposal and gender equality within marriage through the lens of “MANgagement Rings”. In keeping with the tongue-in-cheek questioning of retro relationship/gender roles, I choose a bright and cheerful mid-century illustration style.
